Going from leadership to coaching is an intentional strategy that helps leaders and experts start their own coaching business. I'm going to take you through the five steps you can take to start your coaching journey, and then explain why it's so important that you join us today!

Step 1: Define your values

In this step, you'll want to start by thinking about the core principles that you hold dear. These are your values—the beliefs and ideals that guide your actions and decisions. They can be anything from integrity, honesty, transparency, compassion and innovation to teamwork, creativity and more.

When deciding what matters most to you as a leader or coach:

  • Take time for self-reflection: Reflect on why these values are important to you personally; what do they mean to who you are? What does it mean for others? How does it inform how you lead/coach others?
  • Write down the answers: Writing them down will help cement them in your mind so that when faced with difficult situations later on in life (which happens often!), there is no question about which direction is best for both yourself AND those around us who might need guidance through difficult times themselves as well..

Building a platform is an important part of the coaching process. Your platform is an area where you have special expertise and can help others to grow.
